The purpose of a pilot project is to obtain preliminary data so that a definitive application can be developed for submission to external funding sources. Grants of up to $20,000 are available to successful applicants who present a compelling case for their pilot project. The application deadline is the beginning of May of each year with Funding awarded in July. Within 6 months of completion of the research project the grantee is required to submit an application to a peer-reviewed grant source. |
