Community of Science Funding Opportunities Database: Provided free of charge by the U.S. based organization, Community of Science (COS) contains information not just on funding from Canadian sponsors, but also from non-Canadian sponsors for which any Canadian citizen or resident is eligible.

University of Alberta Research Grants Office Funding Opportunities Database, includes both U of A internal funding programs and those offered by Canadian and international governments, foundations, professional societies, associations, and corporations*.

UBC's Guide to External Research Grants and Funding

Grant information site with up-to-date grant and award information about the main Canadian research funding agencies: Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI), Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). Also includes a link to an Events Calendar that displays upcoming research-related workshops and seminars organized by the UBC Office of the Vice President Research.

The Office of the Vice President Research offers a Coordinator for each of the above granting agencies to answer questions about funding initiatives, application process, and requirements.
