The UBC/Providence Health Care Research Ethics Board generally meets on the last  Friday of the month (with the exception of July and December). The December meeting is scheduled for the 2nd Friday of the month.

SUBMISSION AND MEETING DATES FOR 2008

The UBC-PHC Research Ethics Board is normally scheduled to meet on the last Friday of the month. There is no full board meeting scheduled for July, and the December meeting will be held on the second Friday of the month.

Please note that researchers must first submit the electronic application to his or her department head for approval. The submission deadlines given below are the dates the application must reach the Research Ethics Board. Researchers are advised to submit the applications for department head approval at least 3 days in advance of the REB submission deadline dates.  

Late submissions will be reviewed at the subsequent month's meeting.

Meeting dates may be rescheduled or cancelled at the discretion of the REB. Researchers will be notified of changes to the scheduled meetings.
