Geriatric Dentistry
Elders in PHC's residential care facilities have enhanced access to dental care as part of an innovative program developed in partnership with UBC's Faculty of Dentistry. The overall goal is to improve the quality of life of residents through good oral health. All PHC residents receive a free annual oral health exam and receive regular dental care. Restorative procedures and extractions are performed three satellite clinics located at Brock Fahrni, Langara and Youville Residence.
