Travelers' Hemodialysis Services The St. Paul's Hospital Hemodialysis Unit tries to reserve several spots on the dialysis schedule to serve the needs of traveling dialysis patients. This service is available to British Columbians, out-of-province visitors and international travelers. We also use many of our Community Dialysis units to provide the service when appropriate and convenient for the traveler. Requests are taken by the coordinator who determines the appropriateness of the traveler's request. Upon acceptance, the coordinator arranges transfer of their designated medical records. Visitors requiring hemodialysis services during their stay are strongly recommended to book this service well in advance of their trip, by contacting the renal program at Providence Health Care at 604-806-9034 or email mdonnelly@providencehealth.bc.ca.
