BMO Pacific Spirit Run 2008

Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 10th and head to Pacific Spirit Park, UBC for the 19th annual Pacific Spirit Run. This year’s Pacific Spirit Run will be held on Saturday of the Mother’s Day weekend. Run the trails Saturday, then relax and enjoy Mother’s Day celebrations on Sunday!

Pacific Spirit Run is Canada’s largest trail run. Join hundreds of runners and walkers and help raise funds for Tapestry Foundation for Health Care. All proceeds go towards important research and the development of care initiatives for individuals with dementia. Make it a family event by including your Mom, family, colleagues and friends. There’s a carnation for every female participant, great incentive prizes for fundraisers, post event snacks and a festive atmosphere for everyone!

B.C. Balance and Dizziness Disorders Society

The B.C. Balance and Dizziness Disorders Society (BADD) invites you to a special program presented by Otolaryngologist Eytan A. David, MD, LMCC, FRCS(C) at St. Paul’s Hospital in the Hurlburt Auditorium.

Dr. Eytan David is an Otolaryngologist with sub-specialized training in hearing, balance and facial nerve disorders. He has been published in international peer- reviewed journals and has been the recipient of the prestigious Triologic Society and Canadian Institute for Health Research awards. Considered an expert speaker on common and complicated causes of dizziness, vertigo, and laryngeal trauma and inhalation injuries, Dr. David practices in Vancouver and North Vancouver. He is also a member of the clinical faculty at the University of British Columbia and Lions Gate Hospital.

This workshop will take place at the St. Paul's Hospital Conference Centre, Providence Level 1, New Lecture Theatre.

Tapestry Foundation’s Angel Campaign

Be an Angel throughout the month of December by making a donation to the Angel Campaign. The Angel Campaign is the largest fundraising event of the year for Tapestry Foundation for Health Care.

Watch for angels to be lit at each of the sites heralding news of the campaign. Angel Trees will be available at each site to display hundreds of angels – each bearing the name of a special donor.
